I started my intrest in magic when I was about 6, since then I have collected many effects and changed my style many times. It's only now that I know what I like to perform and what kind of effects I like to do.
Even though I have effects that I don't do on a regular I still once in awhile brush off the dust and take out something that I used to do. Some of it is kinda....we'll kid magic, not that it's bad. But it's simple, simple hit's hard. As most of you already know.
I'm just trying to say that some of that stuff sitting in the back of your closet collecting dust just might be something your missing out on, even though you haven't done it in a long time. Even after years of not performing it you might be able to add a new spin, move or meathod to that old trick and make it fit your style you run with now. So if your reading this and thinking of all that stuff you have, STOP go check it out you just might find something. Thank you

Coming up with something you can call your own is a hard thing, ideas sometimes aren't easy, being inventive is a good thing. I have listed a couple site's which don't tell you how to, but give you a list of things to collect, sleights, ext...

I performed at the legion and a follow up to my mouthpeice trick I try to perform sinful, while I was in the middle of the performance a little boy yelled out "I seen how that was done on YouTube". I finished the performance but lost the interest of some of my spectators. Now YouTube is a great place to share you talent's but watching most people do these tricks on-line , seeing no practice going into anything they do. So I know none of this will change with a blog it sure was nice toget it off my chest.

I have been looking around for a transpo trick that has signatures change places along with there selected cards. I have one that I created but not wanting to step on anyone's shoe's by claiming it as my own I want to make sure it's totally not done yet.

Does anyone else create or throw around Ideas?.

I have been throwing around an idea for time now and planning it slowly, but never really took it to heart. I would like to take a deck of cards and nothing but my knowledge of sleight of hand or what I do know and take to the streets of Canada, but all across the country. But the idea is to only gain something by the means of magic..(food, place to stay ext) and see if I can make it all across Canada with nothing but what I know.
What do you guy's think? Bad idea.

I did a gig last night and got totally worked over by the crowd, I mean i did a good performance and they liked it but it took everything I had todo it. They watched me like a hawk and never blinked, It was a good experince because they were trying to catch what I was doin...g, witch is cool because it gives me that edge when I'm performing for people that just wanna be entertained, and then the magic really stick's out. I love doing magic for both kinds of people but I would rath stick to the people that are amazed at what I do rather then the one's that look at me with "I'll get you next time". It's funny when I get them cause my smile always say back" Ready any time, anywhere". Andrew Rufiange All Street No Stage Pure Magic

I was doing so work at a local resturant in my town when a girl from the local collage walked in and was watching me perform, after everyone settled down she walked up and said she did a paper for psyc. class about how magicians use there talk to mis-direct people from accually knowing what's going on. At first I was kind like really, right in the middle of my performance. I asked her if i could show her something and she declined saying she wouldn't be amazed because she would know what I was doing to her. I then asked her if I could showed her something with out speaking and she could watch my hand's the whole time, she said "ok but if it dosen't work on me I'm sorry". I wanted to do something right in her hands, this i thought would totally add to the end result because it gave her the feeling that she was in control of the trick. I started out with two card monte and the look she gave me when i asked her at the end what if was the best, kinda like you didn't do anything and as soon as i look your gonna do something. But when she turned over the two cards and had seen that they where two different cards she totally lost it. I mean gasped, then said her paper was all wrong, how did I do that she was watching me and holding on to the cards. It was One of those moment's that really make's it worth wild to be an entertainer.
She invited me to come and talk to her class and do some magic for them and there teacher, which i'm excitedfor.
Please tell me some of your story's of thing's that just happen to you while performing.
