woot! first blog post for me (I think).

First of all, it's blatantly obvious that I'm not nearly as experienced in magic as the majority of the folks here are (being a full-time student and hobbiest magician =P), so these blog entries may not be so 'magical' as others, but bear with me ^^.

Anyway, here is something that I just thought of recently:

How did you folks end up here anyway? (By here, I'm likely implying themagicnetwork... but if you so wish to think of here as 'earth', please feel free to do so, I'd like to see the responses XD)

My Story:

I recall some two or three years back when starting out in magic surfing around TheMagicCafe at the time. I don't recall all the details, however, one link did end up sending me here, which I promptly signed up for, posted my first post (DVD review of Joe Rindfleisch's Jumper), and left for quite some time.

As time went on, I did find myself returning every once in a while back to TMN. Occasionally posting, but mostly remaining a 'ghost member'. Hopefully, as I've recently given up gaming, and with the much lighter course load during my summer semester, I'll be able to participate more on this site.

Wow, ended up spewing more than I planned... no wonder people blog, takes quite a bit off of them. (In hindsight, this got pretty off topic..)

So yea, let's hear your stories =)
