Magic in movies are so over-rated. Like Harry Potter is all about flying broomsticks and fireballs coming out of wands. The Prestige was okay but where are the movies about classic magic tricks. And I am definitely not talking about crappy Disney Channel movies.	haxorwoolf

There are some movies about magic and magicians... for example, the Illusionist and another one I saw recently on a plane that I don't remember the name of unfortunately. Would be good if there were more though for sure, because it can make an interesting story for sure. I'd like to see a movie about the life of David Copperfield. I think the whole wizardry thing is just a fad for pre-teens and should hopefully end after the next Harry Potter otherwise I would be tempted to write my own script for a movie about classic magic.	haxorwoolf

Are you thinking of The Prestige?

Of course magic in movies is going to be more fantastic than our magic. Editing does wonders. Watch Blaine's shows, then go and watch some Criss Angel. The effects Criss pulls off are insane compared to David (just look at their levitations)

On the more commercial level and referring to my latest blog, people want to believe this kind of stuff is real. Kids love Santa, so why not flying brooms or fire shooting from a wand. You cannot tell me that you would not want to have that power or an effect with the same impact.
